Behind the repairs

Hi, I’m Hayley, the owner and operator of Out There Gear Repair.

I started Out There Gear Repair after years of whitewater raft guiding and using outdoor gear daily. I’ve always had a passion for sewing, and have seen the growing need for practical, long-lasting repairs and alterations.

I’m originally from New Zealand, and now live in Revelstoke with my Canadian fiancé. I love being outdoors - kayaking, rafting, skiing, hiking, biking, bird watching, climbing, surfing, you name it, I’m probably up for it!

I am super passionate about technical gear repair, it's the perfect blend of my skills and worlds - Outdoor apparel and gear are tools to help us access nature and adventure, and bringing fresh life to them is so rewarding!
